What is the best way to contact The Mountain Seed?
You can contact us directly through our website on the Talk to Us page or in the form below. Please give us a couple of days to respond to you as we are busily working on The Mountain Seed products and running outside with our sons.
What type of materials do you use to create your pieces?
The Mountain Seed uses many different types of wood, including, but not limited to, pine, cedar, oak, and poplar. We also use different types of metal such as copper and steel.
What is your return policy?
We will accept returns and exchanges at our discretion. Contact rachel@themountainseed.com within 14 days of receiving your purchase and we can review your request. Please allow a couple of days for response as we have other duties to fulfill. For all accepted returns, we will refund the cost of the item minus the original shipping cost upon receiving the item. The return shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. Buyers are also responsible for any damage if items are not returned in original condition. If you are returning an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance in the event the item is lost in the mail. We cannot accept returns on any custom-made orders or clearance items.
Does The Mountain Seed take custom orders?
We will work with you in any way that we can to get you your dream product. Custom orders are limited by the availability of materials, function of design, and time availability. Please fill out the form below or email us for any custom inquiries. We love making new and challenging projects!
When can I expect to receive my custom order?
All custom orders require custom time frames. It will depend on the complexity of the order, materials needed, and how many orders are already in line. In general we would have your custom order to you between 2 and 5 weeks, but we cannot guarantee that time frame for all orders. We can however guarantee constant communication throughout the process and our hardest work to get you your custom product in a timely manner.
Is it possible to get my order personally delivered?
We are based out of Greenville, SC and are willing to deliver within reasonable distance. There will be a delivery fee added to the product cost. Please fill out the form below or email us if you would like to see if your product can be delivered by The Mountain Seed. We will remove the product you wish to purchase from the website as soon as we receive your email and we have come to agreement on the delivery. Note that if the product you are interested in sells before we can remove it, online purchases have priority. We will gladly make the product for you also and get it to you in a timely matter, with the understanding that all pieces made are unique and it will not be identical.
